Reminder: Flu shot clinic added

A flu vaccination clinic has been added to provide faculty and staff one additional opportunity to receive a flu vaccine. The clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 19 in the Student Health Center. For additional information and other locations to receive a flu shot, visit the flu vaccination?webpage.

2020 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment going on now

The 2020 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment period is going on now and will run until Nov. 30. Any changes made to your benefit elections will be effective January 1, 2020. Employees wishing to enroll in Flex Spending must enroll each year. The 2020 health care FSA maximum is $2,750 and the dependent care maximum is $5,000. Student timecards for Thanksgiving break

Saturday, Nov. 23 is the pay period cutoff for the Dec. 4 biweekly payday. To be included in this paycheck, timecards for the week ending Nov. 23 must be submitted and approved by 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 which is during Thanksgiving break. Make sure your students’ timecards are submitted and approved to meet the deadline for this payday. Any timecards submitted and approved after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 will be included in the Dec. 18 paycheck.

Environmentally responsible ice melt

Facilities Management is trialing a new residue-free, liquid ice melt at various building entrance points on campus. This product is applied wet instead of in the traditional granular format, which will give the appearance of damp or slippery surface. Its formulation lowers the freezing point of water to as low as -63 F and is 100% chloride free. For more information, email Brian Hadley.
